The Make-up Artist

Having always been fascinated with make-up and colouring faces even as a child it was a very natural process to become a make-up artist. I was able to perfect my skills by studying books, observing make-up artists and a lot of practical training. I had the privilege to learn first hand from experienced and inspirational make-up artists such as Janine Bird at The Make-Up School in London and make-up guru Dany Sanz at the Make Up For Ever Academy in Paris.

I have worked and represented several cosmetic companies as a make-up artist such as the Stila range for Estee Lauder and the Make Up For Ever range for of the LVMH Group. Managing Make Up For Ever also as a brand and business manager allowed me to organise some PR events and sponsorships as for designers such as Paul Costello at Fashion Aid and London Fashion Week where I created the catwalk make-up.

Besides editorial work for magazines I specialised in personal consultation and workshops which I decided to pursue after numerous women began to ask my advice on a suitable look, correct make-up application and related products. Friends encouraged me to teach their friends a make-up lesson - that's how my first one-to-one make-up session started.

I am involved in charity work as a member and volunteer at the "Look Good Feel Better" charity foundation which is set up by the international cosmetic industry to help women cancer patients to look their best through organised workshops in hospitals and donation of free cosmetic products.
